Ultrasound generator, also known as ultrasonic driving power supply, electronic box and ultrasonic controller, is an important part of high-power ultrasound system. The function of the ultrasonic generator is to convert the municipal electricity into high frequency AC signal matched with the ultrasonic transducer, which drives the ultrasonic transducer to work. High power ultrasonic power supply generally adopts switching power supply in terms of conversion efficiency. Ultrasound power supply is divided into self-excitation power supply and other excitation power supply. Self-excitation power supply is called ultrasonic analog power supply, and its excitation power supply is called ultrasonic generator. The ultrasonic generator generates a signal of a specific frequency, which can be either a sinusoidal signal or a pulse signal. This specific frequency is the frequency at which the transducer works. Ultrasound equipment commonly used in the frequency of 20 KHz, 25 KHz, 28 KHz, 33 KHz, 40 KHz, 60 KHz, 80 KHz, 100 KHz or more has not yet been widely used.
The other-excitation oscillation circuit structure used in the ultrasonic generator increases the output power by more than 10% compared with the self-excitation oscillation circuit structure. Linear amplifier circuit and switching power supply circuit are used in the form of ultrasonic amplifier circuit. The advantages of switching power supply circuit: high conversion efficiency, so high-power ultrasonic power supply uses this form. Advantages of linear power supply circuit: It does not strictly require circuit matching, and allows continuous and rapid changes in operating frequency.
